HOPSON Tube Repair Patches are designed for use on inner tubes. It will vulcanize chemically. These patches are black with black vulcanizing gum on a blue poly backing. Gray vulcanizing gum is available upon request. High-quality repair patches for tubes. They are actually twice as strong as the tube itself ensuring every repair is permanent and safe.

Repairing a tire using a tire patch is a simple process that can be done with just a few tools. Here are the basic steps:

• Locate the puncture: The first step in repairing a tire is to locate the puncture. You can do this by inspecting the tread for any signs of damage or by listening for air hissing out of the tire.

• Remove the tire: Once you have located the puncture, remove the tire from the wheel using a tire iron. Be sure to loosen all of the lug nuts before raising the car with a jack.

• Clean the area: Use a wire brush or sandpaper to clean the area around the puncture. This will ensure that the patch adheres properly.

• Apply the patch: Apply the patch over the puncture, making sure that it covers the entire damaged area. Press down firmly on the patch to ensure a good seal.

• Reinflate the tire: Reinflate the tire to the recommended pressure using a tire inflator. Check the pressure with a tire gauge to make sure it is correct.

• Check for leaks: Finally, check for any leaks using soapy water. If you see bubbles forming around the patch, there may be a leak and you may need to reapply the patch or replace the tire.
