3. Clean the area: Use a wire brush or sandpaper to clean the area around the puncture. This will ensure that the patch adheres properly.

4. Apply the patch: Apply the patch over the puncture, making sure that it covers the entire damaged area. Press down firmly on the patch to ensure a good seal.

5. Reinflate the tire: Reinflate the tire to the recommended pressure using a tire inflator. Check the pressure with a tire gauge to make sure it is correct.

6. Check for leaks: Finally, check for any leaks using soapy water. If you see bubbles forming around the patch, there may be a leak and you may need to reapply the patch or replace the tire.
