HOPSON offers two types of crayons, Fugitive and Non-Fugitive. The fugitive crayons also referred to as Ply Markers, are safe for internal use on uncured rubber surfaces such as Calendered material, plies, bead rings, etc.
When used in production, Ply Markers do not act as contaminants and will not cause de-lamination.
The product is available in extensive color varieties, as well as crayons with markings that are visible only under ultraviolet light (UV) and markings that disappear after curing.
Non-Fugitive Crayons, or Tire Crayons, are safe for external use on cured tires and rubber surfaces.
